Wow! I can barely believe that just over a year after starting my photography YouTube channel I’ve already clocked up more than 1,000 subscribers!
Anyone who creates video content will tell you that it’s a lot of hard work, particularly when covering the subject of outdoor photography. It takes up a lot of time, getting up early, going out at weekends and driving to places directly after work to catch an evening sunset. Then there’s the editing of the photos, and of course putting the footage together and creating all the graphics that go into it.
But don’t assume I’m complaining, I’m not. I love making photography videos each week and just being outside and taking photos is enough to make all the hard work worthwhile. It’s all the more encouraging to know that people are subscribing to and watching my videos, and that gives me an added boost to keep trying to improve and create better content.
So what can you expect from my channel going forward?
I recently got a drone and I’m introducing some aerial content into my videos. As ever I’m working hard on improving my editing skills as well as creating audio loops to fit with the footage. I’m hoping that as we start to come out of the pandemic, I can start to get further afield and really show you some exciting photography locations.
If you already subscribe to my channel – a massive thanks to you! I really appreciate it, and I hope you continue to watch and enjoy the videos. If you’re not already subscribed, then please consider heading over to my channel so you can subscribe to Robert Bishop Photography!
